Facial volumetry is an ideal alternative to plastic surgery. The treatment allows for the modeling of any part of the face without the need for a scalpel. During volumetry, a special form of hyaluronic acid (known as a filler) is injected into the deep layers of the skin using a thin needle or cannula. Considering the composition of the product, which contains only the mentioned hyaluronic acid naturally found in the skin, the procedure is considered completely safe. Hyaluronic acid is responsible for skin firmness, which decreases with age. Facial volumetry is regarded as the most modern method for reducing wrinkles and enhancing facial features, which is why our patients often choose it.

Facial volumetry enhances the desired shape of the face, defines the contours, and eliminates wrinkles. Additionally, hyaluronic acid hydrates and firms the skin, providing a natural effect. The first noticeable changes are visible immediately after the procedure, with the full results appearing after about 2 weeks. The effects of facial contouring typically last around 12 months.
Facial volumetry should not be performed on pregnant or breastfeeding women. The procedure is also contraindicated for individuals with autoimmune diseases, cancer, or blood clotting disorders. Additionally, facial contouring cannot be performed on individuals with vitiligo, psoriasis, or a tendency to develop keloids.

Typically, patients schedule their next appointment after 12-18 months, once the results are no longer satisfactory. It is recommended (especially for mature individuals) to administer larger doses of 3-4 ml of hyaluronic acid in a single session, rather than multiple smaller treatments over the course of several months.
