Anti-acne peels

Anti-acne chemical peels involve applying specially formulated acids to the skin to exfoliate dead cells, unclog pores, and reduce acne-related lesions. These treatments deliver noticeable results across various types of acne and can be used not only on the face but also on the neck, chest, and back—areas where breakouts most commonly occur. Peels help improve skin texture, fade post-acne scars, and prevent future breakouts. Chemical exfoliants such as salicylic, mandelic, azelaic, and pyruvic acid—or blended acid formulas—penetrate deeper layers of the skin, regulating excess oil production and targeting inflammation at its source.

The treatment is offered in three versions: basic, standard, and premium. The price depends on the amount of product applied in layered stages throughout the procedure. The specialist will determine the right dosage based on your concerns and the results you wish to achieve.

Results

The long-term effects of an anti-acne peel include a noticeable reduction in breakouts and blackheads. By fading post-acne scars and discoloration, the skin becomes smoother and more evenly toned. Peels also help unclog pores, effectively removing impurities and excess sebum from the skin.

Post-Treatment Care

  • Moisturizing: regularly apply hydrating creams to keep the skin well-moisturized.
  • Sun protection: avoid sun exposure and use high-SPF sunscreen daily.
  • Avoid irritating cosmetics: for a few days after the treatment, refrain from using products that could irritate the skin.

Contraindications

The procedure cannot be performed on individuals with active skin infections, such as herpes. It is also not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or for individuals prone to developing keloid scars. Other contraindications for anti-acne peels include cancer and uncontrolled diabetes.

We’re answering your most frequently asked questions

  • The peel is intended for oily, acne-prone, seborrheic, and congested skin.

  • A chemical peel penetrates the deeper layers of the skin, making it more effective and delivering faster results. Cosmetic products available in drugstores offer only short-term effects and do not reach the root of the problem.

  • The wide range of acids used in our clinic allows us to safely treat all skin types—including patients undergoing pharmacological treatment.

  • In the case of an anti-acne peel, results may take up to two weeks to become visible. However, much depends on the condition of the skin, the type of active ingredient used, and the intensity of the treatment.

  • Immediately after the procedure, the skin may be red and irritated. In the following days, you might experience burning, itching, and peeling of the skin. However, it’s important not to interfere with this process by scratching or picking at the skin.
